Hello from Mauritius :)

I’ve officially made it to Mauritius. It’s been just over a week and here are a few moments to share.

I didn’t use my brain and put two and two together that I should’ve studied some more french due to literally everyone speaking it. Pro – I’ll become a pro by the end of the year. Con – I have no clue what’s going on a lot of the time and feel some fomo. But again, by the end of the year, I’ll be fluent in understanding french at least, which is more then what I can say about spanish (sorry fam)

This is my friend Alexia who is letting me live with her for the year! I’m staying with her family, her mom Sharon and sister Nat. And again this is Soho – 3 months – and super cute.

We met while I was doing a study abroad semester in London. Since we’ve been good friends and she even came to Jersey for the american college experience lolol.
